Loon Lake Lodge
While Loon Lake Lodge is interesting to explore year round, it is truly best enjoyed in the winter months. During the winter, this resort is transformed into a true winter wonderland that is perfect for a winter break or even a special winter event or celebration.
The winter activities at Loon Lake Lodge include cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing. Beyond these winter sports, there are several local activities that bring a trip to Loon Lake Lodge to a whole new level. This includes the chance to take a local tour via a dogsled or even ride in a horse drawn sled. In order to fully enjoy the Loon Lake experience, one can even take a chance with ice fishing right outside of the lodge.
With all of the winter adventures available, it is also nice to have the welcoming lodge to return to. Finding a place in front of the fireplace is a great way to not only warm up but also reflect on the memories of ice fishing, enjoying a trek on a dog sled or one of the other many winter activities.

My wife and I went here on our honeymoon – magical place. There were so many activities to choose from – cross country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding. Every day we got out to do something active and the lodge was so warm and welcoming in the evenings. Sitting by the fire in the warm lodge was a great way to spend evenings. Highly recommend!
